Ohio Medicaid Announces August 1, 2026 Statewide Expansion of Next Generation MyCare Program

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) announced that the Next Generation MyCare program is available in all Ohio counties as of August 1, 2026. The program rolled out in Hocking, Perry, Morgan, Noble, Monroe, Washington, Athens, and Meigs counties, providing enhanced health care benefits to Ohio residents with both Medicaid and Medicare.

Eligible members may start receiving benefits through a Next Generation MyCare plan. When benefits begin depends on whether, and when, a plan is selected of if one is automatically assigned.
