Ohio’s MetroHealth Opens Psychiatric Emergency Department Health In Cleveland Heights  

Ohio health system operator MetroHealth opened a new 13-bed psychiatric emergency department (ED) at its Cleveland Heights Medical Center. The department offers on-site psychiatric services, available any time day or night. ;

The Cleveland Heights’ psychiatric ED is located in the Behavioral Health Hospital. This location allows for smooth transfer of consumers who need inpatient behavioral health care, while consumers with medical needs can be transferred to the facility’s psychiatric-medical unit.;
