Oklahoma City Facility Opens New Military Mental Health Unit
Oklahoma City-based behavioral health facility Oakwood Springs recently opened a new 24-bed unit for military members, veterans, and first responders. Units for those whose needs are not related to veterans health are still free to seek treatment in the facility’s other units.
The unit will go hand in hand with the “HOPE for Heroes” program, which is aimed at helping people with post-traumatic stress disorder to overcome stress and other trauma related to their service.
