Omada Adds Glucometer, Blood Pressure Cuff To Chronic Disease Management Offerings

San Francisco, California-based chronic disease management organization Omada Health recently announced it is adding cellular-connected glucometers and blood pressure cuffs to its chronic disease management offerings. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared devices can be mailed to program members with Type 2 diabetes or hypertension.

According to Omada, the organization will continue to allow BYOD (bring-your-own-device) as an option for consumers, despite the new services. Leadership states that BYOD provides flexibility for consumers that matches the unique circumstances of their lives, while continuing to follow clinical best practices.
