Optum & SSM Health End Administrative Partnership  

A representative for SSM Health said the company and Optum, a unit of UnitedHealthcare, have terminated an administrative partnership that began in 2021. SSM Health has not disclosed reasons for terminating the arrangement.;;

SSM Health is a Catholic, not-for-profit health system that operates in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. Its system includes 23 hospitals and more than 290 physician offices. At its inception, the partnership aimed to improve SSM’s inpatient care management, digital transformation, and revenue cycle management.
