Orange County Health Care Agency Closes Public Health Clinics

Due to federal funding cuts, the Orange County Health Care Agency in California is closing several of its public health clinics. The clinics coordinate public and private sector resources. The county’s clinics provide public health services across communities, coordinating public and private-sector resources. The agency said it has lost five grants totaling $13 million that covered the costs of disease surveillance and treatment.
