Oregon Health Authority Set To Elevate Medicaid & Behavioral Health Programs As New Divisions  

Oregon Health Authority (OHA) said it is taking steps to elevate the state’s Medicaid and Behavioral Health programs as new divisions under an updated organizational structure. The programs have been part of the Health Systems Division (HSD) since 2016. The HSD will be dissolved and its functions will be allocated to the new Medicaid and Behavioral Health divisions.  

OHA said under the new structure, the Medicaid and Behavioral Health divisions will have the ability to allocate funding and regulate programs. OHA anticipates that as separate divisions, they will be able to be more responsive . . .
