Oregon Health Care Provider Organizations Reimbursed With State Funds Required To Work With Certified Or Qualified Health Care Interpreters
New rules that go into effect July 1, 2022 will require health care provider organizations reimbursed with public funds to work with credentialed health care interpreters qualified or certified by Oregon Health Authority (OHA). In addition, OHA – and state boards that license and certify health care professionals – must develop rules to enforce the new requirements for health care interpreting services.
