Oregon Opioid Settlement Board Directing $13 Million To Strengthen Addiction Recovery Infrastructure
Oregon’s Opioid Settlement Prevention, Treatment & Recovery Board will direct $13.08 million toward expanding and strengthening the state’s recovery community centers and recovery housing. The board approved a proposal from the Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission (ADPC) to boost access to recovery community centers and housing.
The funding was awarded to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), which will administer the allocations. The funding includes $11.75 million to establish centers in counties highly impacted by overdoses, yet with the least access to recovery services. These allocations include:
