Oregon MCOs Adopt Unite Us Platform For Medicaid Waiver Payments 

Several Medicaid Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) across Connect Oregon have adopted a scalable payment solution from Unite Us to implement the Health-Related Social Needs (HRSNs) climate benefit under the state’s Medicaid 1115 Waiver demonstration. 

Connect Oregon launched in March 2026. It will offer qualified Medicaid beneficiaries equipment for addressing climate events. The covered equipment includes air conditioners, heaters, refrigerators, and portable power supplies. The Unite Us solution will enable the CCOs to streamline the community reimbursement process, build capacity for community-based providers, and expand access for Medicaid members.
