Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge Region Planning $50 Million Behavioral Health Campus
Officials in Wasco County, Oregon, have begun planning a $50 million behavioral health campus in The Dalles in the Columbia River Gorge region of the state. The facility is expected to offer residential and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services.
The county recently garnered a commitment of $1.7 million in funding for the facility from the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee. The first phase of the Columbia Gorge Resolution Center project, which aims to shore up services in the region, will cost $22 million and involve two 16-bed behavioral health residential treatment buildings.
