Otsuka Partners With Japanese Researchers On Epilepsy Treatment Support System With eMind Smartphone App 

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) is partnering with K.K. eMind, (eMind), and with researchers from the Tohoku University School of Medicine (Tohoku University) in Japan to develop the eMind for Medical Research (eMind) smartphone application to support people with epilepsy and help predict and prevent seizures. The partnership is for Phase II of the Epilepsy Smart Medical Collaborative Research Project. The goal is to implement a technology-driven system to improve the quality of life for people with epilepsy. The project runs from April 2025 to March 2028.
