Complete Care signed a definitive agreement to acquire 11 of Hackensack Meridian Health’s 14 long-term care facilities. Financial terms were not disclosed. The proposed sale must be approved by the state Department of Health. The facilities being acquired include nursing and subacute facilities located eight towns (Brick, Hackensack, Holmdel, North Bergen, Ocean Grove, Plainfield, Shrewsbury, and Wall). The deal also includes two assisted living facilities located in Edison and Holmdel. Together, the facilities have about 1,630 beds.
