Palms Behavioral Health Opened Hospital Doors To Public, Patients Aug. 1

Palms Behavioral Health has opened the new 94-bed mental health care facility at 613 Victoria Lane on Monday, August 1. They are now taking patients. The $13 million mental health facility will fill what experts have lamented is a serious gap in such medical care in the Rio Grande Valley. When fully staffed, Palms Behavioral Health is expected to employ 225 people, company officials have said.
