Partnership Access Line Plus Created To Expand State Behavioral Health Services to Children

Seattle Children's has expanded the Partnership Access Line (PAL), a telephone-based mental health consultation system for primary care providers in Washington and Wyoming, to increase access to mental and behavioral health services for under-served and low-income children. The one-year pilot PAL Plus program is for Benton and Franklin County, Washington children (aged 5-18) diagnosed with certain categories of depression or disruptive behavior. The service targets youth who are not yet enrolled in mental health services.

PAL creator Robert Hilt, M.D. implemented PAL Plus services to include in-person counseling with a local therapist . . .
