Partnership With Children Launches Three New Afterschool Programs In New York City Centered On Supporting Student Mental Health

Partnership with Children (PWC), a non-profit that has supported the mental health and well-being of New York City school children since 1908, is launching three afterschool programs for middle school students in Brooklyn and the Bronx. The programs will serve South Bronx Academy for Applied Media, Riverdale Avenue Middle School, where PWC is the lead community school provider organization, and Mott Hall in Brooklyn, near a PWC community school. They are part of the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) COMPASS afterschool initiative, which is adding about 10,000 afterschool seats this year.
