PathWell Health Inc. acquired Caring Angels Home Health, LLC, which provides services in West Virginia and Virginia. The capital expenditure associated with the project is more than $1.3 million, according to a letter of intent that PathWell submitted in June 2021 to the West Virginia Health Care Authority
Since 2010, Caring Angels Home Health has been a locally-owned, and community-focused home health care provider organization. It serves northern Virginia counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Loudoun, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren, and the northeastern counties of West Virginia, including Berkeley, Jefferson, Hampshire, Mineral, and Morgan.
PathWell is a technology-enabled home health care business. The company is a Medicare and Medicaid certified home health care provider organization. PathWell initially serviced the Southern Connecticut area and is actively expanding its coverage area organically and through acquisitions. In addition, PathWell offers outsourced medical coding and OASIS quality assurance services, and a software platform for home care agencies.
In 2020, PathWell acquired Shamrock Home Care, a home health care provider organization that serves Southern Connecticut. It provides skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy, medical social work, wound care, homemaker and companionship services.
