PBM LucyRx Launches Program To Support Independent Pharmacies In Underserved Areas
Independent pharmacy benefit management (PBM) company LucyRx launched the Sustaining Pharmacy Access & Rural Care (SPARC) program to support independent pharmacies in underserved areas. Through SPARC, LucyRx intends to increase per-prescription reimbursements, promote community-based health care initiatives, and advocate for legislative reforms to expand the pharmacist scope of practice.
The SPARC program provides higher reimbursements for the participating independent pharmacies. It promotes pharmacist-provided vaccinations, therapy management, and health screenings.
