Pediatrica Health Group Acquires Capote Pediatrics

Florida-based Pediatrica Health Group, a multi-site, pediatric primary care organization dedicated to providing equitable access to innovative care for children, acquired its tenth practice location, Capote Pediatrics, according to a recent announcement. With this acquisition, Pediatrica intends to expand to serve Sarasota County and Manatee County, the announcement stated. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition opportunity presented itself when Capote Pediatrics’ owner Dr. Jessica Capote decided to sell the practice in order to pursue teaching, the announcement stated.
