Pelago Launches Virtual Behavioral Health Platform For Co-Occurring Substance Use & Mental Health Disorders

Pelago, which provides specialty substance use care, announced the Pelago Behavioral Health Platform to facilitate treatment for co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health conditions within a single plan. The Pelago Behavioral Health Platform is available to employers and health plans, with member access beginning in November 2026, ahead of January 1, 2027plan years.

The platform manages acuity-matched treatment for substance use, mental health, and behavioral addiction care. Each member starts with Sona, Pelago’s voice-first clinical artificial intelligence (AI), which assesses what they need and stays with them under licensed clinical supervision.
