Pelago Raises $58 Million From Investors To Expand, Accelerate Development Of Digital Addiction Treatment Platform
Digital health provider Pelago, which is focused on addiction treatment management gained $58 million in new funding. The company said the investment would be used to accelerate its product roadmap, extend its continuum of care and advance clinical research efforts. Investors in the new funding round included Atomico, Kinnevik AB, Octopus Ventures, and Y Combinator.
Pelago, which was founded in 2015, partners with health plans and self-insured employers to offer a virtual clinic for addiction treatment management among employees. Pelago’s programs include cognitive behavioral therapy and medication-assisted treatment. Its platform covers 3.4 million lives.
