Pennsylvania has become a full participant in three multistate licensure compacts that make it easier for physicians, nurses, and physical therapists who are qualified and licensed in other states and are seeking to practice in the Commonwealth to be eligible to do so within days instead of weeks or months. The goal is to help meet critical staffing needs and improve access to care.;
