Pew Trusts & EDC’s Zero Suicide Institute Launch New Suicide Care Initiative For Hospitals

The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Education Development Center's (EDC's) Zero Suicide Institute are collaborating with a national network of eight hospitals to test methods to detect suicide risk and connect at-risk consumers to care to prevent self-harm. The initiative, called the Suicide Care Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network (CoIIN), seeks to transform how hospitals identify and care for consumers at risk of suicide.
