Aetna Funds Law Enforcement Mental-Health First Aid Training

Aetna provided financial support to the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association to conduct Mental-Health First Aid training. The training is an effort to help law enforcement personnel handle mental health-related situations, including their own. The new program emphasizes discussing difficult calls, seeking professional help when needed, how to recognize when someone is facing a mental health crisis, and how to deal with mental health crisis.
