Rainbow Health In Minneapolis Shuts Down Without Notice 

Minneapolis-based Rainbow Health, which offers mental health and addiction treatment support for people living with HIV and those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning (one’s sexual or gender identity) (LGBTQ+) closed effective July 19, 2024. Employees said they were notified of the immediate closure on July 18, 2024.  

The unionized employees are members of SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa. According to SEIU, contract language requires a 30-day notice of layoff. ;
