Regence BlueCross BlueShield Of Utah & Aledade Partner To Expand Innovative Value-Based Care Model

Regence BlueCross Blueshield of Utah (Regence) and Aledade recently partnered up to expand Aledade’s accountable care organization (ACO) in Utah. The partnership marks Aledade’s first commercial contract in Utah, and seeks to provide high-quality, innovative, and value-based care to consumers.

By implementing a value-based model, provider organizations will be rewarded for improving quality of care and consumer health outcomes and lowering costs – as opposed to being rewarded for quantity of consumers treated or services provided.
