RivCo Expanding Behavioral Health Resources In Blythe

Riverside County (RivCo), California, will make efforts to expand behavioral health resources in the Blythe area. Through these actions, the county hopes to address the growing number of homeless people within the region caused by limited housing programs, as well as, reduce the strain put on law enforcement by individuals going through crisis.

The expansion will include efforts such as:

Boosting clinic hours and staffing
Training hospital and law enforcement personnel
Forming a homeless outreach team as part of an expansion of mental health services
