Sam Verghese Appointed As Head Of Florida State’s Department Of Elder Affairs

Florida Governor Risk Scott announced the appointment of Sam Verghese as secretary of the Department of Elder Affairs. Mr. Verghese served as External Affairs Director for Governor Scott in 2014. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Staff for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and as Staff Director for the Majority Office of the Florida House of Representatives. Mr. Verghese received his bachelor's degree from Liberty University.
