Santa Clara County Expands Behavioral Health Navigator Program
The Santa Clara County, California, Behavioral Health Services Department expanded their Behavioral Health Navigator Program to accommodate high demand. The program connects residents to county-contracted mental health services. The program launched in July 2022 with one peer navigator in the field to serve San Jose and Gilroy. During the program’s first year, the nearly 8,000 people who contacted the navigator call center were connected with behavioral health services.
