Seattle Children’s Launches Psychiatric Urgent Care
Seattle Children’s Hospital opened a Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic will offer same-day in-person and telemedicine mental and behavioral health assessment and intervention for Washington children aged 4 through 17.;
The center is intended for youths experiencing mental health crisis who need urgent, same-day intervention but do not need to visit an emergency room. The Seattle Children’s Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic staff includes mental health therapists, family advocates/case managers, psychiatric advanced practice providers, and medical assistants.
