Self-Serve, AI-Assisted Primary Care Organization Forward Ceases Operations One Year After Rolling Out CarePods

Forward, which provided an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted self-serve primary care solution for adults, announced plans to cease operations as of December 14, 2024. The company used a direct-to-consumer subscription model. The services included on-demand primary care screening and diagnosis at technology-enabled, self-serve, primary care kiosks called CarePods that are located in consumer locations, such as malls, gyms, and office buildings in major metropolitan areas.
