Silver Hill Hospital Completes Acquisition Of Freedom Institute To Expand Psychiatric Care In New York City

Connecticut-based Silver Hill Hospital, a psychiatric hospital, completed its acquisition of non-profit Freedom Institute in Manhattan, New York. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The facility has been rebranded as Silver Hill New York.

Freedom Institute was founded in 1976. It has been providing an outpatient addiction treatment and recovery center. In March 2023, Silver Hill had assumed leadership of Freedom Institute in a collaboration to expand the Silver Hill continuum of care to the New York City area.
