Richard Long of Ferrum has joined Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP) as director of LIFES Academy. At STEP, he will direct the day-to-day operations of Lessons in Fundamental and Essential Skills (LIFES) Academy, which provides an alternative setting for students with special needs.
