St. Luke’s To Merge With Carbon County Hospital System

St. Luke’s University Health Networks (St. Luke’s) and Blue Mountain Health System (Blue Mountain) announced that they will be merging. The merge will involve no exchange of money.

With the merger, Blue Mountain’s Gnaden Huetten and Palmerton hospitals will join St. Luke’s network. The merger will not influence Blue Mounta’s nonprofit status, and names of the two hospitals involved will remain the same for the time being, but are subject to change upon official completion of the merger.
