Steward Health Care Acquires 8-Bed Abrazo Mesa Hospital

Steward Health Care, the nation’s largest physician-led health care network, acquired Abrazo Mesa Hospital, an 8-bed micro-hospital located in Mesa, Arizona. The facility has been renamed Steward Mesa Hospital and is Steward’s fifth facility in Arizona. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Offering 24/7 emergency services, the hospital provides additional access to patient care and short ER wait times, and will help bring Steward’s high-quality, community-based care to even more patients in the East Valley.
