Sullivan County, New York Plans To Open New Peer Connection Center

Numerous stakeholders in Sullivan County, New York plan to open what they are calling the Peer Connection Center. The center is in response to the lack of service availability outside of normal 9:00am to 5:00pm business hours for individuals with mental illness and addiction disorders.

The space for the center will be donated by Action Toward Independence, who is donating a part of its office in Monticello. Starting out, the center will be open from 8:00am to 8:00pm on some week days, as well as on a weekend day—with plans to possibly be open longer . . .
