Summit Behavioral Healthcare Acquires Iowa Residential Program

Summit Behavioral Healthcare (Summit BHC) recently announced it is acquiring Bayard, Iowa-based St. Gregory Retreat Center (St. Gregory). With the transaction, St. Gregory will be officially renamed St. Gregory Recovery Center.

The purchase marks Summit BHC’s first in the state of Iowa, adding to its 14 existing properties. Additionally, the acquisition includes a second property located in Adair, Iowa, which the organization will use to expand its services and bed capacity.
