Suncoast Behavioral Health In Florida Closes

Suncoast Mental Health Center in Fort Pierce, Florida, announced on its website its permanent closing due to financial challenges,;as of February 14, 2025. The post said the carefully considered decision comes after 27 years of service and support to the community.

The announcement, signed by Chief Executive Officer Debra Engle, encouraged consumers served to contact Suncoast regarding record access, and for help connecting to alternate mental health provider organizations. The announcement also offered links to the 988 crisis line and the 211 line for the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast areas for referrals to other services.
