Superior HealthPlan Invests $43 Million In Value-Added Services For Its Medicaid & CHIP Members
Centene’s Superior HealthPlan, a managed care organization in Texas, said it invested $43.3 million in extra Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program benefits from 2019 through 2023. These benefits, known as value-added services, offer support for members across the state.
About $15.5 million;of the total was spent on vision care, while $12 million went for over-the-counter items. About $11 million was spent on dental care, and another $2.5 million went toward sports physicals.;
