Texas Hospital Opens Access To Mental Health Care

Cross Creek Hospital held its grand opening ceremony on May 29 at its location in Northeast Austin, Texas. The facility officially opened on March 2, 2015. Cross Creek offers adult psychiatric services to treat depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, as well as detox services for substance abuse. In the summer of 2015, it will offer treatment for adolescents and children. It offers free assessments to anyone needing treatment. The 90-bed facility used to be a psychiatric hospital and was the former home of Austin Recovery, an addiction treatment center.
