Ascension Health Subsidiary, Together Health Network, To Acquire Michigan-Based Insurer

A subsidiary of St. Louis-based Ascension Health, Together Health Network (THN), notified the state of Michigan it plans to buy U.S. Health and Life Insurance Company (USHL), located in Sterling Heights, for $50 million. THN is a clinically integrated network that was formed in July of 2014 as a collaboration of Trinity Health and Ascension Health.
