Town Of Westport, Connecticut Contracts With Silver Hill Hospital To Provide Free, Urgent Mental Health Assessments
In an agreement signed in late January 2025, the town of Westport Connecticut contracted with Silver Hill Hospital, a psychiatric hospital, to provide free urgent mental health assessments and referrals to ongoing care for town residents of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. The two-year contract is valued at $40,000 annually. Starting in early February 2025, it covers the costs of up to four assessments per month.
