Two New Mental Health Hospitals To Open In Lacey

A new agreement between US HealthVest and Providence St. Peter Hospital will be bringing two mental health hospitals to Lacey, Washington. Previously, there had been a standoff between the two groups over who would get to build a hospital in the area.

With the agreement, the area will now be having two hospitals arrive, as opposed to one. US HealthVest will bring a 108-bed facility, while Providence and Fairfax Behavioral Health anticipate offering an 85-bed hospital - named Olympia Behavioral Health – once they receive a conditional use permit from the city.
