UAB Creates An Accountable Care Organization For Medicare Patients

The UAB Health System recently created an accountable care organization (ACO) to partner with other health care provider organizations in an effort to improve the quality of care given to consumers in Alabama.

Included as members of the new ACO are UAB Hospital, the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation, Christ Health Center, Medical West Hospital, and Cahaba Health Center.
