UConn School Of Social Work Awarded $2.4 Million To Address Youth Behavioral Health Crisis
The University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Social Work announced receipt of a $2.4 million, four-year grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to develop means to address the youth behavioral health crisis in the state. With this funding, UConn created the Behavioral Health Scholars Program (BHSP) with the goal of expanding the pipeline of social workers specializing in youth behavioral health at a local level.
