UM Harford Memorial Hospital In Havre De Grace, Maryland Expected To Close In Early 2024 As New Medical Center Opens
University of Maryland's Harford Memorial Hospital (UM HMH) in Havre de Grace, part of UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UCH), is expected to close on February 6, 2024. Having served Harford County for well over a century, UCH says that the hospital’s aging facilities can no longer meet the demands of a modern health care system.
On the day UM HMH closes, services will be moved to a new, state-of-the-art medical center that will open in Aberdeen, six miles away in the new UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Aberdeen and to the upgraded areas of UM . . .
