United Healthcare Grants $700,000 To Feeding Wisconsin

United Healthcare (United) recently donated $700,000 to Feeding Wisconsin to help provide more fresh food to Wisconsin communities.  Feeding Wisconsin is the statewide association of the Feeding America food banks that sources, warehouses, and provides food to over 750 affiliated agencies and 1,000 local food programs throughout the state.

The funds will go toward the purchase of 50 refrigeration units for pantries throughout the state, as well as helping to fund training programs for the handling of market fresh produce. To date, United has donated about $2 million in grants to local organizations in the state of Wisconsin . . .
