UnitedHealthcare Launches Avery, A Generative AI Companion For Members

UnitedHealthcare announced the launch of Avery, a generative artificial intelligence (AI) companion designed to support members with navigating benefits, accessing care, and resolving administrative issues, while also assisting customer advocates.

Avery is available through the UnitedHealthcare app and myuhc.com and provides self-service support for a range of member needs. The tool uses member-specific data, including benefits and prior interactions, to deliver personalized guidance and next steps in real time.
