UnitedHealthcare Launches Initiative To Use Wearable Technology For Enhancing Diabetes Management
UnitedHealthcare recently launched a new initiative that uses wearable technology and personalized support to help consumers with Type 2 diabetes manage their condition. The initiative seeks to accomplish this in part through the utilization of UnitedHealthcare’s Navigate4Me health navigation program.
Using a “virtual nerve center,” Navigate4Me channels in information from a number of sources that navigators can use in order to help members manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
