UnitedHealth’s Optum Expands Urgent Care Business In Texas

UnitedHealth Gorup’s Optum division recently announced it is expanding its urgent care business in Texas byopening more urgent care centers in the state. The new centers will be opened through Optum’s urgent care business, MedExpress.

To date, two new urgent care centers have been opened by MedExpress, with a third slotted to open by October. With the addition of these centers, MedExpress currently operates 14 urgent care clinics throughout the entirety of Texas—with that number climbing to 15 by October.
